Jiu jitsu has not always been easy for me
If you are a woman who trains, chances are you can relate to some struggles on the mat. Yet you are still here. Probably because you love jiu jitsu – just like me.
Here’s a story
My name is Rose. In 2022 I decided to take a big jump and quit my job as a medical doctor to give full-time jiu jitsu a go. I ended up taking a gap year, spending all my time and focus on training, competing and teaching.
The fact that it was “only” a year, is besides the point. What matters most, is that I finally felt ready to let go of the expectations that people – and mostly myself – had of me, and embrace something I felt connected to my soul.

Believe in yourself, and it will take you really, really far
Jiu jitsu transcends a sport in so many ways. It has motivated me to work hard yet stay patient, because anything that’s worth it takes time.
It has shown me that success inherently means failing along the way, because no one is perfect – and that’s okay.
It has learned me that self confidence equals self love, because the only way to truly believe in yourself is by accepting who you are.

Are you ready to grow?
For you, I wish the exact same thing: to experience the jiu jitsu in the best way possible and let it bring out the best version of you.
I’m not saying I have all the answers (who really does anyway?). But I have enough experience as a competitor, coach and woman to help you navigate your way in the jiu jitsu world. So let’s connect and go on this journey together.
